At Managing The Edge we are having our own kind of sales contest. Doug and I are both writing sales copy for our course landing pages and we are having a contest to see who can generate the most conversions…
How are we doing it? A/B split tests using Google Website Optimizer. Basically when you go to http://ManagingTheEdge.com/TwitterForBusiness you will be served either one of two pages – my sales page or Doug’s. It requires very little setup and everything is tracked through Google Analytics. It’s a no-brainer if you are running ads or selling stuff online!
