Web Analytics and SEO – Episode 003

by Andy Brudtkuhl on January 26, 2009

In this Part 2 of Building a Solid Technology Foundation (listen to Part 1) for your business we talk about the importance of using analytics and creating a site structure and content conducive to findability.

We discuss the ease of installing and configuring Google Analytics in WordPress. Also, we try to de-mystify the data you are analyzing in your analytics reports so you can focus on the most important statistics.

We also talk Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in this episode and what you need to know as a business to optimize your website. In this discussion we talk about creating content with SEO in mind and setting up a site structure in WordPress to optimize your findability.

Remember – findability is just one part of the equation of having a successful website. If you don’t have engaging content than you won’t have the opportunity to turn your findability into conversions.
