In our 16th episode we discuss monitoring and measuring results of social media marketing campaigns using free tools like bit.ly and Google Analytics. We cover three aspects in social media measurement – goals, tracking, and analytics.

Goals
Measurement is easier when you have goals defined up front. In this episode we discuss a few types of goals and which should be the most important.

Tracking
Link Tracking and keyword tracking are an important aspect in social media measurement. We discuss a few of the tools we use to make this easier.

Analytics
Analytics is important in any types of online measurement – especially social media measurement. We discuss how to use Google Analytics to track social media marketing progress and effectiveness in converting traffic to leads and sales.
