In our 19th episode we learned about local search optimization. Local SEO is a means of optimizing your website to be findable in local search results – the highest growing area in search.

We talk about using Google Local Business Center as a means to get listed in search results. Also discussed are quick tips for optimizing that listing as well as some basic SEO tips for your website for local targeting. And finally we dove into localizing Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising as a way to decrease your budget and enhance your findability.

If you haven’t added your business, do so at the following…

For Google, go to Google.com/Accounts.
For Yahoo, go to Yahoo.com and set up an account
For Bing, go to bing.com/webmaster

To access Google Local Business Center (as discussed on the show) go to Google.com/local/add

If you have any questions please let us know in the comments or on Twitter with hashtag “#mte”…
